On July 1, Sen. Elissa Slotkin toured the Project DIAMOnD Digital Transformation Center in Auburn Hills to see how Michigan manufacturers are using 3D printing to solve real-world challenges.

During the tour, Slotkin saw Project DIAMOnD's industrial-grade 3D printers in action, explored parts manufactured by Project DIAMOnD members and learned how the Project DIAMOnD Marketplace has created the nation's largest distributed additive manufacturing network.
Representatives from Michigan small businesses that participated in the program also shared their experiences with Slotkin. We extend our appreciation to Ameche Designs LLC, Blackhawk Additive Manufacturing, K-Tec Systems and Fixitopia for taking time from their busy schedules to discuss how Project DIAMOnD has helped strengthen and grow their businesses.

Project DIAMOnD welcomes all elected officials and government representatives to tour its facilities and meet with participating manufacturers to see how the Digital Transformation Center, Academy and Marketplace are helping keep Michigan manufacturers competitive and at the forefront of innovation.
